Configure Proportional Load Balancing in the 128T
Step 1Configure a Service Policy

AUTHORITY >  Configuration > Service Policies

ADD: Service Policy

name:  lb-webservers

Step 2Configure a New Service

AUTHORITY >  Configuration > Service

ADD:  Services
         name:   lb-important-webserver
         Service Address: 128.128.128.128/32
         policies: 
                   Security Policy: encryption_only
                   Service Policy:  lb-webservers
         Access Policies:  
                Source:    corp
                permission:  allow



Step 3Configure a Service Route Policy on Datacenter Router 1


Step 4Configure a Service Route on Datacenter Router 1


Step 5Configure Service Route on Branch 1 Router


ADD:   Service Routes 

name:    svr-lb-important-webserver

SELECT:  Service Name:   lb-important-webserver

SELECT:  Type:   Peer Service Route

SELECT: Peer:   bosdc1


VALIDATE and COMMIT
Step 6Verify Load Balancing Connectivity


Step 7Verify Path Weights

OPEN CONSOLE for
Conductor

PCLI

su admin

show load-balancer router all

Step 1Configure a Service Policy
Step 2Configure Service Route Policies on Datacenter Router 1
OPEN CONSOLE for Branch 1 Client
Step 3Add Service Route Policy to Service Routes on Datacenter Router 1


Step 4Verify Load Balancing Connectivity
OPEN CONSOLE for Branch 1 Clienthttp://128.128.128.128

Close the window and open it again and point it to http://128.128.128.128
Step 5Verify Different Path Weights
