Conductorusing RPM 128T-installer ( no ISO file )



1. Launch a Linux command prompt.
2. sudo yum install  http://yum.128technology.com/installer/repo.rpm
3. sudo yum install 128T-installer
4. sudo install128t 
5. Press the enter key to select Begin and start the installation wizard.
6. When prompted, open the client certificate you received as part of your 128T
purchase. Copy the entire contents, including the Certificate and Private key
information, and paste it into the Client Certificate window of the install wizard.
The content must begin with the line ----- BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and end with ----
-END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----.
7. Press the tab key after pasting the client certificate to select the OK button, and
hit enter.
Step 0create a static IP address

Step 1Deploy your 128T Conductor
install 128T Installer Reposudo yum install https://yum.128technology.com/installer/repo.rpm -y
install: 128T-installersudo yum install 128T-installer -y
cetificatesudo mkdir -p /etc/pki/128technology
wget https://yum.128technology.com/file/client_cert.pem
sudo mv client_cert.pem /etc/pki/128technology/release.pem
start 128T Installersudo install128t

install the 5.1.3 ( 2021-06 )

Select:

  • Conductor
  • Standalone

Node Role:              Conductor
Node Name:           node1   ( hostname )
Conductor Name:   nycconductor1

admin password:  128Tadmin

reboot

Step 2Name your Authority

Username: admin
Password: 128Tadmin

Configuration menu > Authority

Authority Name:   CompanyX
