Zero Touch Provisioning is available on MX, QFX (15.1 and above) L2NG and EX series (12.2 and above) of Juniper devices


ZTP:   

  • DHCP server will provide to the device: IP@  + TFTP server IP@
  • TFTP server will provide: build Image + device configuration


FlexZTP:   

  • DHCP server will provide to the device: IP@  + TFTP server IP@
  • TFTP server will provide: build Image + device script ( ztp.sh or slax script )
    • The scrit will allow:
      • Configuration of the Device
      • End-to-End validation
      • Update of the NMS/BSS  ( file name with hostname )
