on Debian


on Kali ( debian ) 

install docker.io ( not docker already exist in Kali ? ) 

docker.io is more stable then the docker-ce ( community edition)

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

run docker command without sudo right

  1. Create the docker group.

    $ sudo groupadd docker
    
  2. Add your user to the docker group.

    $ sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

Install on ubuntu:


sudo apt-get install docker.io




Install on Centos ( + start the service )


yum install docker

systemctl status docker.service -l

systemctl start docker.service

systemctl is-enable docker
