Dockerfile:

FROM nginx:alpine

COPY . /usr/share/nginx/html

2- create/copy and modify the index.html file

3- build an image ( don't forget the .  see below!!!! )

docker images                                 # list images

docker build -t mynginx:v1 .       


docker images

4- create a docker container / run container

docker run -d  p 80:80 webserver-image:v1   ?????                p 80:80  webserverimage:v1
