vRouter on ESXi

VRouter on VMware ESXi hardware specs

Here are the specs for Contrail VM that we recommend:

VCPUS – 2, MEMORY – 8Gb, HW

Compatibility – 6.0 or later, Linux Version – 3.13.0-40-generic

    By default Contrail vRouter is having about 520K flows (see below). I guess that we are pre-allocating memory for installing those flows.

    We can increase this value and for instance to 2M.
